Tokyo Dome Cosplay
I went to Tokyo Dome last Sunday with my husband and Paul, a fellow couchsurfer, to catch the cosplayers. The price is outrageous for non-cosplayers- at JPY 2000 per head if you buy in advance and JPY2200 if you buy at the gate. To add to that, you need to pay additional JPY500 for the 'permit' to take pictures, plus JPY500 as deposit (which they return when you surrender your ID, which we forgot). I must say, if it weren't for the rides, it wouldn't have been worth paying that amount to get inside to watch the otaku dance to some anime songs. I was thinking there would be booths where people sell their own home-made manga, but I thought wrong. What you see in this video is, simply put, all there is to it inside Tokyo Dome. Why pay when you can just stay outside and roam, there are enough cosplayers outdoors! Next time , we know better!

Hello Cherry Blossoms
So I did a lot of travelling for the last couple of weeks. Back in the Philippines, I went to Pinatubo, then Quezon, then Batangas (Pico de Loro), then Baler, then Coron in Palawan, then Cebu, then Baler. I also went to Vietnam. Now I am back in Tokyo. Home sweet home ! I have a cooking demo on Sunday in Harajuku. Wish me luck. :)
I have uploaded photos!

RIP DJ. I hope justice will be served.
Akiba on a monday holiday
Akiba was doing this flea market on the street, selling all the otaku things. I bought all of these, plus a family computer USB controller for 100 YEN!! I'm so spoiled! <3 <3
To Lisa
I was talking to my husband about our maid, Lisa's favorite song when I was a kid. As usual, I couldn't remember the title, but I remember some words and even the melody. So dared to employ the power of youtube..Much to my surprise, it was originally in Japanese!!!
